If we emailed your business

We found your business email address on your own website or public business listing. Alongside it we hold your business name, your website address, details that are publicly listed about your business (such as your Google Business Profile and Companies House record), and the results of any checks we ran on those public listings.

We use these details only to send you a short proposal about a problem we think we can solve for your business, and to follow up on it a small number of times. We do not buy contact lists, and we do not share or sell your details.

Our legal basis

Legitimate interest (UK GDPR, Article 6(1)(f)): contacting a business, at its published business address, about a service relevant to that business.

How to tell us to stop

Reply "no" to any of our emails, or write to fberk@pengwise.com. We stop at once and delete your details. We keep only your email address on a do-not-contact list, so that we never write to you again.

How long we keep your details

If you don't reply, we delete your details 6 months after our last email. If you become a client, we keep what we need for the work and for our accounts.

Who else handles them

Our email provider stores the emails we send and receive. Cloudflare hosts this site. We do not pass your details to anyone else.

This website

This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics. If you switch between light and dark mode, your browser remembers that choice on your device; it is never sent to us. Cloudflare, our host, keeps standard technical logs to deliver and protect the site. If you email us, we use your message only to reply, and we delete it if you ask.

Your rights

You can ask to see the details we hold about you, correct them, or have them deleted, by emailing fberk@pengwise.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
